This exempt position works in collaboration with the Marketing Communications team to film and produce a variety of video and audio products for the firm.
Overall management of the film and podcast processes for the firm.
Directs, designs, develops and produces videos, podcasts, webinar recordings, animations and other multimedia pieces for use on websites, presentations, interactive displays, training sessions, client alerts and both internal and external communications for the Business Development team, and for the firm overall.
Manages production elements, including script, narration, set design (if necessary), lighting and music.
Manages planning and scheduling of all media production components.
Completes post-production work, including editing, sound recording, dubbing, mixing, and video file compression.
Creates, produces and manages all podcast services. Provides guidance to users of the podcast systems.
Provides graphic design and website content management support to the Marketing Communications team as needed.
Maintains audio/visual library of original footage.
Troubleshoots and maintains production equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
The Multimedia Designer reports to the Director of Marketing Communications.

The ideal candidate must possess professional video and audio production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology; principles of analog and digital video capture; experience using Windows or MAC video editing applications; proper handling and troubleshooting of broadcast quality video production and post-production equipment; safety practices related to video production. Requires experience using the Adobe Creative Suite products. Prefer experience editing in DaVinci Resolve. Experience in podcast production. Experience in remote video and audio capture and production.
The ideal candidate has experience in a professional video editing/producing environment demonstrating competence in all areas of video production. Successful candidates must have a high attention to detail and excellent personal communication skills. Experience working in or with professional service organizations is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies: operate and maintain a variety of analog and digital video editing equipment; operate computers and relevant systems and software; creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective storyboards and visual form; ensure filming captures quality recordings and properly edit to produce optimal, engaging videos. Collaborate with internal and external members of the firm to organize and implement audio and videotaping of materials for education, marketing, client alerts, introductory clips, animation videos; develop and optimize workflow techniques to manage complex video projects effectively and efficiently; troubleshoot video product complications; communicate effectively with individuals and groups; work well with a larger team; write and speak clearly, concisely and effectively; meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities; research and remain current on the developments of audio and video production technology.
Three or more years of experience with all aspects of video/audio recording and production is required.
Any combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described. A typical qualifying background would include a graphic design, multimedia, animation, video production degree and/or production certification from an accredited design and multimedia institute. Require a portfolio showcasing digital and creative work.
Must be able to move around the office up to 40% percent of the time.
Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
