Role and Responsibilities

As a lead instructional designer and eLearning developer on a global award-winning team of L&D professional you will be responsible for driving the digital learning and instructional strategies for the #1 TV brand in the world for 15 straight years.
This role primarily supports Samsung’s Home Entertainment Division.
Deep experience designing & development training content using Articulate Storyline and Rise .
Experience in adult learning material and learning principals, namely the Systems Approach to Instructional Design (ADDIE, Blooms, Gagne)
High level of graphic design experience (Photoshop) for print-based learner resources that can be up to par with marketing standards.
Experience supporting a field sales team and/or operating in a sales enablement capacity.
A love for consumer electronics and retail.
Experience in creating Sales and/or Merchandising training.
Basic knowledge of UI/UX design with an emphasis on HTML & CSS.
Experience with editing video for learning audiences using Camtasia and/or project managing video editing processes with an agency.
Knowledge and experience capturing analytics around learning activities and translating those analytics into actionable results for thousands of audience members that align to key business objectives.
Experience working collaboratively across an organization in-person and virtually.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with Director & VP level leaders.
Supporting retail/sales/merchandising activities by leveraging the best-in-class eLearning and instructional design solutions that shine just as bright as our TV commercials.
Manage/Develop/Drive execution of the Home Entertainment L&D content library.
Design a multi-tiered Learning Curriculum around products, skills, and behaviors.
Building & deploy a new learning management systems with an understanding of how they can be used for various audiences to learn about a large product assortment.
Be a PowerPoint rock star that can create instructor led presentations up to company’s marketing and brand standards.
Ability to read/write HTML & CSS.
Ability to engage and win over Directors and Vice Presidents.
Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
Dial in to complex technologies and translate the information into consumer use-cases and scenarios.
Lead training and development meetings with Product Managers and clearly articulate the education roadmap during the product launch prep periods.
This person will be expected to travel to South Korea approximately once per year to develop deeper relationships with global education professionals, engineers, designers and Sr. leadership professionals.
Skills and Qualifications
BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional technology, educational technology, organizational development or 5+ years of relevant experience in instructional design & development.
5+ Years developing and executing strategies, development and delivery of creative and innovative training solutions that can live up to the company’s marketing standards.
5+ years of experience developing training in a variety of delivery modalities
Experience managing multiple projects: planning work, managing requirements, and keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
Master’s degree in Instructional Technology or related field.
6+ Years with eLearning Multimedia Development for large sales audiences.
6+ Years with Graphic Design Experience.
3+ years HTML/CSS coding experience. Experience with WordPress a plus.
Obsessed about the user experience, high standards, and continually inspire others to do better for our retail partners.
Experience gathering, building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics to multiple audience types.
Strong technical aptitude to be able to learn about complex topics and adapt them to basic audiences.
Comfortable presenting your work to executive decision makers

This role is based in Ridgefield Park, NJ, travel approximately 20%, including yearly trips to South Korea.
