Job Description:
Under the direction of the art director, the graphic designer will produce print and digital creative solutions that address the marketing and communications needs of the University Development Office.

Job Details:

Create and execute concepts for print and digital collateral with great attention to quality and detail. Projects include but are not limited to proposals, impact reports, magazines, brochures, ads, presentations, event collateral and signage, infographics, web and social media assets, animations, email layout, greeting cards and promotional items.

Collaborate with design and marketing team members on creative project solutions.

Preflight/prep print files and coordinate production with printers, including press checks.

Update files and extend existing designs across a variety of file types and sizes.

Provide support for photo searches and photo editing, such as color correction, resizing, clipping and creating consistency between photos.

Maintain UT brand continuity and visual appearance in print, digital and multimedia environments.

Develop and manage inventory of relevant materials, supplies, equipment, photos, graphics, and design assets.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Two years of experience in graphic design and production. Ability to design and produce high-quality work with a strong sense of concept development, superior design, technical and editing skills, and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends. Experience with the printing process including print specifications and final files service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work within budget, and collaborate with a team. Fluency in Adobe CC, Keynote, PPT, and Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

More than two years of experience in graphic design and production.

Salary Range

$50,000+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

Typical office environment. Must also be able to work remotely.
